Welcome to Gunnersbury Skip Hire. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our skip hire services. By booking a skip with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

In these terms:

• Company refers to Gunnersbury Skip Hire.
• Customer means the individual or entity booking the skip.
• Skip refers to the container provided for waste disposal.

2. Booking and Payment

To book a skip, the Customer must provide accurate information regarding the type and size of the skip required, the location for placement, and the duration of hire. Payment is due at the time of booking unless prior arrangements are made.

2.1 Payment Methods

We accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and online payment platforms. All transactions are secure and encrypted.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery will incur no charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total booking cost.

4. Responsibilities of the Customer

The Customer is responsible for:

• Ensuring the designated placement area is clear and accessible.
• Notifying the Company of any obstacles or restrictions at the site.
• Loading the skip safely and responsibly, avoiding overloading.

5. Use of Skips

Skips are intended for the disposal of non-hazardous waste only. The following items are prohibited:

• Hazardous materials such as chemicals, asbestos, and electrical items.
• Perishable goods like food waste.
• Bulky items that cannot be safely loaded into the skip.

6. Liability and Insurance

While we take precautions to ensure the safety of our services, the Company is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our skips. It is the Customer’s responsibility to insure their property against potential damages.

7. Safety Regulations

Customers must adhere to all relevant safety regulations when loading the skip. This includes:

• Not exceeding the maximum weight limit.
• Avoiding the disposal of prohibited items.
• Ensuring the skip is securely positioned to prevent tipping.

8. Disposal of Waste

All waste collected in the skips is processed in accordance with environmental regulations. The Company ensures that waste is disposed of responsibly and sustainably.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate the service if the Customer fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions. In such cases, any fees paid may be forfeited without refund.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Gunnersbury Skip Hire operates. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.

10.1 Amendments

The Company may revise these terms at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the services signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
